BBjInputD::getHighlight

Description

In BBj 4.0 and higher, this method returns whether the text in the BBjInputD control is highlighted when focus is gained from tabbing into the control.

getHighlight()

Parameters

None.

Return Value

Returns whether the text in the BBjInputD control is highlighted (0 = Not Highlighted, 1 = Highlighted).

Remarks

By default, the text is not highlighted.

REM Determine if the text in an InputD control is to be highlighted when focus is gained

REM Obtain the instance of the BBjAPI object
LET myAPI!=BBjAPI()

REM Open the SysGui device

REM Obtain the instance of the BBjSysGui object

REM Add an InputD control that uses the current default mask inserting
REM today's date when the user hits the restore key (normally ESCAPE)
myInputD! = myWindow!.addInputD(101,50,100,90,30,$080c$,"",$$,0,0)

REM Set the text in an InputD control to be highlighted when focus is gained
myInputD!.setHighlight(mySysGui!.TRUE)

REM Determine if the text in an InputD control is to be highlighted when
REM focus is gained, this will return 1 (TRUE)
